Planet Thrive Interviews Derval Dunford (woman who recovered from MCS)

Hello!

I feel like I haven't written in a very long time and this post will be short.
Spring has sprung here in southern Ontario and I'm outside puttering in the yard and gardens whenever possible.
I've been battling frequent migraines and find they can be triggered or worsened by the computer screen so I haven't been online much.

Today I want to share a link with you to a great interview done by Julie Genser and Julie Laffin at Planet Thrive (a very neat site - check it out!!).

I mentioned Derval Dunford back in March and was so excited to see the interview done with her on Planet Thrive.
When I started this blog, one of the things I wanted to do was interview people who have improved with MCS. So far, I simply haven't had the energy to and I am really happy that someone else is doing it!
Thank you Julie and Julie! :-)
Some day I'd love to see you interview Sweigh Emily Spilkin, Debra Lynn Dadd, Raymond Francis, Annie Hopper, Julia Tuchman and others. It can be so inpsiring to hear of others healing and improvements.

Okay, here is the link to the interview:

Healing trauma and chemical sensitivities an interview with Derval Dunford, creator of the meditation CD Sui

After hearing the sample track from the Sui CD (and loving it), I decided finally to order it. When I get it, I'll let you know how I liked it.
If you haven't listened to the sample track yet, I encourage you to do so.
You can listen to it here (click the link just above CD TRACK DETAILS).

I hope you are all having a great spring with as much clean air as possible and things that bring you joys - great or small.

  1. Hi and thanks for the mention!! We heard about Derval here first, so thanks to you for posting about her. An in-depth interview with Annie Hopper is in the works...should be a good one!! We have invited Sweigh and Julia to do guest posts on our blog. Debra Lynn sometimes writes articles we feature on our Community Soapbox. I will have to look into Raymond, have not heard of him. Feel free to write us directly with more suggestions, we seem to be on the same wavelength. ;-)

    Best, Julie

  2. Liberty, thanks so much for posting the link to that interview. The info was greatly needed and her positive tone was a relief. I just started juicing a couple weeks ago and it gave me enough energy to get off the couch for a change. I was getting frustrated because once things started getting better, I wanted faster results. I didn't realize how hard I was still pushing myself and liked what she said about giving the mind a break too. It came as quite a shock when she said it took several years to recover but at least it helps manage expectations.

  3. Julie: I'm so looking forward to reading more interviews :-) Thank you so much for doing them. I know it is a lot of effort and so much thought goes into them. We do seem to be on the same wavelength!
Raymond had MCS (and a bunch of other things) over 20 years ago if I recall rightly and now is vibrantly healthy.

Shayla: that is really great to hear of how juicing gave such fast improvements for you. It can be really frustrating to have to wait for our body to heal at it's own pace. I get very impatient - over 5 years now! But I have noticed such an increase in the speed of healing in the last 2 years - the last year especially - so perhaps we may reach a point when the body has regained enough vitality to heal faster.

I feel that giving my mind a break is one of the final puzzle pieces for me - it's something I've really neglected my entire life.

  4. Liberty,
I just came upon this post and stayed to read it through. Thanks so much! I listened and settled into my morning with much delight. I love the sound of Derval's voice and totally enjoyed the guidance she gave. What a nice contribution. All the best, Mokihana
